This went longer than any of the other giftfics this year, and I still don't think I did it justice. Maybe, when I have more time, I'll go in and add more scenes. But, for now, I included the scenes that I'd always meant to write for this story. And this was an excellent excuse to do so! Thanks for remembering this fic and wanting more of it. 52. Snuggle
(Torchwood, Jack/Ianto)

“You need tea.”

Jack’s arms wrapped even tighter around Ianto. He added a leg, hooked around the man. “Not now… ha… hahh-AhhShuhhhh!”

Ianto shivered as Jack’s wet nose slid against his neck, so he snuggled closer. Even ill, Jack was so warm, like an immortal, everlasting battery. And Jack snuggled right back, resting his cheek against Ianto’s. He breathed warm into Ianto’s ear. Ianto petted his head, drawing fingers through the soft brown hair.

When Jack tensed up, drawing in a breath, Ianto held him tighter. “hahhh-AHShuhhhh! Hahh… Hahhh-AHHShuhhhh!”

“Bless. Sure I can’t get you tea?”

“No, just want snuggles.”

With apologies to Lady K's usericon, here's a Torchwood fic. I ended up watching half the series 1 episodes and a few series 2 episodes while writing this, because I needed to remember their voices. I feel pretty rusty writing this, so I hope it's not too terrible. And I hope you enjoy it!! :-)

This fic gave me serious trouble. I started it, hated it, started another one and realized it wasn't what you wanted, and then ended up back at this one again. It's not exactly what I'd had planned, but I hope it'll do. Sometimes it's rather difficult to get Jack to be... well... naughtier than his usual self, especially when he's not feeling so good :-) Have a fantabulous holiday season and an even more fabtabulous new year!

Okay, so I really need to learn how to write Torchwood fic without plots. I still think my plots are massive fails. And I keep trying to just write proper PWP but they never turn out the way I want-- the bad plots sneak in when I'm not looking! I actually hated parts of this during draft 1. I'm not super happy with it now several revisions later, but there are parts I do love (and I like more than I dislike) and you've waited a lot time for this. So I hope you can overlook its weaknesses and focus on the sniffly, sneezy, angsty Ianto boy instead :-) I hope you enjoy it!
