Today's term of the day was Tikkun olam. It came up in the car in the audio book I was listening to. And it just came up in an episode of Touch (which I'm currently marathoning).
I love the expression and its meaning, and to encounter it twice in one day--in the span of about 10 hours--made me take special notice.
Tikkun olam (Hebrew: תיקון עולם or תקון עולם[1]) is a Hebrew phrase that means "repairing the world" (or "healing the world") which suggests humanity's shared responsibility to heal, repair and transform the world.
