I've been writing this ficlet for Nermal in my head for a week now, but I just can't seem to get it out properly. Grrr! So I'm heading to bed in defeat.
I did a little of everything today. I watched a little more than a disc of Star Trek DS9 (only half a season to go!), I went to Borders (returned a book, used my $5 reward coupon, bought Angels & Demons DVD--EWAN!-- at half-price with a coupon, and bought a Torchwood book I didn't already have), I went to Home Depot to help Mom get light switch/outlet covers, went to Giant to get supplies for New Years, went to Walmart and bought $50 worth of storage containers to get my room in order, watched Jurassic Park and cleaned some more (still have to tackle about 75% of the room), cleared room on my digital camera, and tried to write. Oh, and played a few dozen rounds of online games. I'm such a Zone Games addict, it's not even funny.
But I really did make some good progress on the room. I feel soooooooooooooo much better about the new configuration of boxes. I think it's going to work out nicely once I get it finished.
Tomorrow I'm getting up early and heading into DC to go to the Museum of Crime & Punishment with friends (MAN, I wish I had a copy of Crime & Punishment to release there; but I'm not giving up my mother's copy to BookCross with LOL). Should be a lot of fun. It's a non-free museum in DC but my friend had discount tickets and I'm eager to go to snarf it and spend a few hours there. Should be a LOT of fun. Afterwards I plan on snarfing a lot. There are some heritage trails I want to follow and then maybe hit some monuments I haven't yet snarfed. We'll see how much energy I want to devote to it tomorrow. It'll be chilly!
