First one to guess which one I am gets a ficlet/drabble written for him/her! You can only make one guess at a time but you can guess as many times as you like.
I'll post hints if no one can figure it out. But it shouldn't be too difficult. I noticed me as soon as I saw me! LOL
Also, I'm showing off my new icon. Pretty, yes? I actually wrote that on a post-it and stuck it on my computer monitor at work. Just in case I have a tough day and FTBA :-)

But, basically, I'm totally in love & in awe of this world the vlogbrothers have created. And I just spent the last two months reading every single thing John Green has had published. He's an amazing writer. I liked Looking for Alaska more than Paper Towns (I posted about Looking for Alaska a while back) but Paper Towns was awesome :-)
So... astute, observative, lucky Lady K... what would you like me to write?

Date: 2009-09-25 12:30 pm (UTC)But I actually am suprised how quickly I came up with something that would be appropriately short in length and high in enjoyment potential. Feel free to shoot this down but:
Ianto gets exposed to something alien that gives him a cold/flu-like illness (or at least those type of symptoms) and he can't go home because a.) they don't want to risk anyone outside the Hub and more importantly b.) they need to keep an eye on him to make sure there are no unpleasant surprises. So basically he crashes in the Hub and they take care of him.
Man, as I type this, this is sounding too good to be only a short story now. I might write more in my head on this and use it for my personal daydream time.*G* But for the purposes of a ficlet, I just pictured short snapshots of scenes of him being checked up on and fussed over.

Oh, and I've got the next series of 3 TW books on order now too. Potentially the last time they get any money from me, unless they keep writing things with Ianto in them. I've already let my magazine subscription lapse...
But I absolutely could not resist this blurb from the summary of 'The Undertaker's Gift': "with Ianto Jones falling desperately ill..." I just read a fan review, and it looks like it's got a good Jack/Ianto/Gwen vibe going, with a side of Gwen/Ianto friendship, and I do love me some OT3 sometimes. *G*
Also, the new book 'Consequences' features a story by James Moran (king of the Jack/Ianto fanboys), in which Ianto is completely snarky and badass, and saves (and kisses) both Gwen and Jack, with a giant gun that he actually uses. Wish he could have written all of Series 3...
