*sigh* Really. Good game, bad outcome. Ah well. I did clap for Cam, though, the cutie. He's fucking fantastic, even though I wish he'd let a few more goals past him :-) At least the Bears won this year. And on Thursday the awards will be given out and my Vechy will win rookie of the year. Yeppers. And then the draft is on Saturday. So that's still nummy hockey stuff to look forward to.

Today I got TWO wild release catches at BookCrossing! I was/am sooooooo excited! One of the books was one I released back in March... and another was one I released a few days ago. Both "finders" seemed really excited at finding the books, thought the idea was cool, registered on the site, and plan to release other books. So that TOTALLY makes my day (and helps me get over the cup loss)


Anyway, it's been a while since I did one of these... but...
Today's writing progress:

• Strokesfic entitled Respect- This is the story I was thinking about submitting somewhere. It's not going so well (it's getting kind of cheesy) and I doubt I'll submit it. But I worked on it a bit today.
  
• Strokesfic entitled Halloween- I started this today. It's set in October of 2006. I wrote a page just to start it out before I lost the bits of dialogue running through my head. I really do want to finish the other Strokesfics before I start new ones, but my muses don't agree.
  
• Spander fic- I've been working on a sort-of-Spander fic I started a while ago and asked for help on. I got fantastic fb from two lovely people that is really helping. So I played a little with it and wrote a few more pages. I was stuck earlier, but now I'm feeling good about it.
  
• Too Many Cooks- I wrote a few paragraphs in the next part
  
• Gift for Maria- OMG I'm still not done with holiday giftfics *facepalm* But I wrote about 3 pages in this today (it's Legolas/Aragorn) and it's going fairly well. I don't know how it'll end, yet, but it's very close to being finished. So yay!!
