Resolutions

tarotgalHrm. I've never really been a resolution-type person but it might be fun to look back in a year and see if I actually managed any of these with any quality and/or efficiency.
Let's see. I think that's it. Though I reserve the right to add to this list in the next few days :-)
- Finish the evil thesis edits. Preferably by the end of this week.
- Lose more weight.
- Make significant progress on my 'fandoms I want to get into' list (Which is currently Buffy, Stargate: Atlantis, Farscape, Horatio Hornblower, Starsky & Hutch...)
- Finish at least one draft of a possibly publishable novel
- Release more Bookcrossing books into the wild
- Figure out what the hell I want to do with my life
Let's see. I think that's it. Though I reserve the right to add to this list in the next few days :-)

It seems so easy to concentrate on all the things we know we *should* do (lose weight, clean the house, finish projects, insert dull but necessary task here...) and so rarely allow ourselves to add something that we WANT to do. But, I hear you on the evil thesis edits -- must re-start writing my diss. before my committee members retire or die (and I'm only half kidding!). So, I'm with you in spirit, as Alan Ginsberg wrote. And if you determine the 'answer" to number six on your list, please let me know -- I'm still grappling mightily with that one m'self. ;C

Date: 2005-01-04 09:22 pm (UTC)I absolutely loved your stories that were gifts. Especially sneezy Daniel. I was Sooooooo happy. *grin, grin* And having a cold and being moved about and miserable. AWWWWW!! Just wanted to cuddle him.
Oh- and I Loved sneezy Percy too. Very, very cute and adorable. And the dynamic between he and Oliver was just wonderful.
Oh yeah.... haven't ever seen Wesley but he sounded just Too cute for words!
Oh- and if you ever wanted to expand BVS into sneezy Giles that would be awesome. It's odd I've never even Seen a BVS all the way through (only Very small bits) and yet the lovely sf ficts have me hooked (got into Giles after reading some of nermal's stories).
