They didn't! They took out the opening song (which is what hooked me in the first place... and it's already in English, LOL, but they always seem to do that with anime... do you know why? Is it too much Japanese? Is it copyright? Are they just asses?)
But they kept the all names and nobles are still called nobles. What's his name... damn... the old guy with Blue... growl, I should remember but I don't... anyway, he wasn't as gruff and angry as the original. Wasn't bad, just wasn't what I expected from him. Tsume's voice fit him well. Kiba's wasn't too bad. I'm undecided on Hige- wasn't what I was expecting(less playful and casual in tone) but wasn't too bad either. I could learn to like them all pretty easily. Cher and Hubb were adorable. There was maybe one awkward pause because of getting the words to match mouths, but it was very well done. And to my knowledge they didn't cut anything more than the opening credits and had very quick closing ones(to Gravitation, though, yay) I could be wrong... it seemed short... but I rewatched the first episode recently and can't think what they edited out if anything. Lots of dialogue matched the fansub I watched, so that was good for me as far as consistency. Yeah. I really enjoyed it. I'm relieved. I hope they keep it up!
