Is that why you're a vegetarian? *g*

2. Skydive
That sounds SO much scarier than bungee-jumping!

1. Australia
If you came over, I'd give you a tour *g*

5. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Me too! I even hve a copy on my computer, but I've never gotten around to watching it.

1. I like when characters give each other cute nicknames, damnit!
The arrogance/clique-y-ness of fandoms really, really bugs me.

See the Northern Lights from Alaska? I live up here and have seen them. Several times in fact. My dad says that what we see down here (in south-centeral AK) is NOTHING compared to what he has seen on the slope. I'm guessing that Alaska is one of the 13 states you've never been to. If you were to come up here, you would want to come in the winter, even though it's freezing. if you were to come in the summer you would not see ANY cool night-time natural things, except the sun not set for 22 hours, or something like that. This is a cool quiz. Where do you find things like this? Sorry for rambling, Gayle

Coming from a film major and all around movie dork I have to say:

Gah, how could you not want to see Butch Cassidy!? I love that movie! It's up there with Bonnie and Clyde as one of my fave robbery/gangster movies.

As for There's Something About Mary- Im a HUGE Ben Stiller fan and even though that's the movie that made him famous, it's way overrated.

And Die Hard- Even though I don't really understand why Alan Rickman is a British terrorist (Just like Gary Oldman's character in Air Force One is supposed to be Russian- you can still tell he's British) it's still classic Bruce Willis.

I just had a random thought... (study is very conduitive to random thoughts)... when you finish your thesis, does that mean you'll be Dr tarotgal? :o)

Butting my head in from the world of academe: No, she'll be "Mistress" tarotgal once she finishes the thesis and obtains the master's degree. The PhD is what's known as the doctorate, here in the states.

Oooh, study and random thought -- gosh, yes! (Thinking of everything else BUT the presentation on MLA citation style and research papers I should be prepping right now...)

Ohh. See, I thought thesis was for your PhD. And that Masters was just a course like Bachelors. Didn't realise that Masters = thesis... yeah, I'm behind *l* But... there's a title for Masters? OH! Masters! Mistress!! Omg. *lol* The things you learn. Do I get a title when I finish my bachelors? I just know I get some letters after my name *l* Do you have a title, too? All this academia stuff! I'll be happy to graduate with good marks in bachelors. Masters sounds way, way too scary!

Oooh! Wouldn't it be deliciously fun to go with 'Mistress' though?

Too bad there's no pharmacist Master's degree, only Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy, and Doctor of Pharmacy...and I'm not handing my back my 'Doctor' title for anything, not after all I went through to get it. Besides, I like the connotations 'Dr.' has when I think about cuddling my sick fictional characters *G*
