I just watched a House Hunters episode with this young couple from Nashville. Incidentally, they paid less than I did for their home and got a giant mansion. But that's not the point of this post. The woman had two pet turtles. Adorable turtles, but really pampered. She takes them on the road with her when she leaves for her job. She pets them. She walks into a living room and thinks it would make a good room for the turtles. She also wants a pond in the backyard for them to swim (ended up with a huge bathtub for them). Anyway, it's incredible and kind of amusing. My mother called her "bat shit crazy" and, okay, maybe she was.High maintenance with interesting turtle-related priorities is more like it.

And then, at the end of the episode, she asks the turtles which house to choose. And what are the turtles named? Sammy and Cas. I kid you not.

At the end of the episode, she says they're thinking about getting a third turtle. Um, YEAH. Don't you have to at that point?
