I've got a new Tumblr. My friends made me do it. It feels like an ultra visual flashy MySpace version of Twitter. And it's really hard for me to find the links sometimes to reblog things. I found out today that my very favorite singer of Scottish music, Steve McDonald, had a new album out called Ballads & Battles. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE! And by "new" I mean it came out October 2010 and I only just realized it this morning. I still bought it and enjoyed it. There are none yet that really amaze or transport me the way the ones on previous albums did... but I do love them. And I ESPECIALLY love the Lord of the Rings song, of course. That was a grand and welcome surprise.
I got a Harry Potter Valentine's Day card in the mail from a swap-bot swap with a poem written just for me. Awwwww!
I have a short story due TOMORROW for a swap. I've finished the first draft but it needs some editing. I need to do that tonight. However, at the library tonight while volunteering, the very best sneezy SPN story popped into my head. I kept trying to drive it away because it was somewhat distracting, but it kept writing itself and now I desperately need to get it out out out of my head before I forget all the lovely details. But I've got this other story to finish first. Damn it!
