Yay Red Wings!!! (Yeah, I never thought I'd hear myself say that either... but my Langers is there, so I've got to) But they won their series and are moving on so happy I am for them!
And YAY the Avs beat the Stars! I've been singing that to the tune of Hi-Ho-the-Dairy-O all night. EVERYTHING is right with the world when the Stars go home as losers *sigh*
Boooooooo to the Flyers for beating my Devils, however. *Slaps wrists* NOT happy to see my Patrick and Marty looking so sad :-( Stupid Flyers. I dunno if I mentioned but I detest Pennsylvania hockey teams. Not as much as the Stars, but pretty damn close. Which is funny since boyfriend is from Philly. But BOOOOO!!!! Bad Flyers for making my cute, cuddley Devils all sad! I'm NOT happy about that one.

I'm a liiiiittle worried about the Canucks right now. *crosses fingers*

I've been writing random May fics tonight. REALLY random. Got in the mood for MMoM I guess. Read a splendid Haldir fic written for it some time ago. I've been dying to write a Haldir fic. Sexy elf boy. Yum yum. But a Legolas/Gimli MMoM fic jumped into my head instead. With lots of ear action *G* THough right now I'm writing a Qui/Obi one and a Sirius/Remus one. Damn. When May comes around I won't have to do any writing, I'll already have tons of fics ready and waiting. LOL None of them are sneezefics yet... but I'd guess there will be some that pop up, no pun intended. Er. Okay, maybe a little intended :-)

Yay Canucks!!!! Whew! After that second overtime I was starting to get very worried... they were all looking SO tired. I won't go into my whole thing about what each overtime is like to me in hockey... just don't have the energy. But wow... was VERY glad we're going to see a game 7 :-)

And not that anyone asked... but I've mixed feelings about the St. Louis Blues player. I am astounded he went to such horrible, inexcusable lengths... but relieved there was no actual murder... but appauled that he didn't feel he could 'come out' to his teammates or admit he had problems... and both angry and sympathetic... and worried about him in general... and annoyed at the team... and impressed at how some of the team is really standing behind him and saying great things about him... and relieved and not so relieved at the outcome thus far. Gah. I don't have enough details to say, but I hope he gets help and I want to give him a big hug because even though he didn't want his team to know he was gay, well, the whole bloody world knows it now(or at least heavily suspects it, because they're not coming right out and saying anything for certain yet). Poor lad *hugs* He sounds like such a good kid, really. I've a soft spot for the tough guys. It's a tough position to play but SO important... and the tough guys are usually some of the sweetest and funniest guys on the team. I hope things turn out okay for him. But just remember in the future if you're trying to kill someone don't talk about it on the phone to someone in another state. Poor kid. *hugs*


OHH! OH OH OH! Just realized Spartacus is starting tonight on USA! With sexy Goran Visnjic *droooooool* Yay! This'll be great! Boooo Roman Empire! LOL But really, just Goran. That's enough to make me happy. Goran looking all downtrodden and dirty and brooding. Yum. Because of course his character on ER doesn't have enough angst, I've got to see more out of him. LOL
