See the Northern Lights from Alaska? I live up here and have seen them. Several times in fact. My dad says that what we see down here (in south-centeral AK) is NOTHING compared to what he has seen on the slope. I'm guessing that Alaska is one of the 13 states you've never been to. If you were to come up here, you would want to come in the winter, even though it's freezing. if you were to come in the summer you would not see ANY cool night-time natural things, except the sun not set for 22 hours, or something like that.
